The String Cheese Incident will headline Cannifest when it returns to California’s Humboldt County in 2025. The celebration of all things green is set to spark up August 30th and 31st at Halvorsen Park in Eureka, CA.

The String Cheese Incident will perform two full sets, topping a diverse lineup of additional touring acts that have yet to be announced. The show will mark Cheese’s first trip to the area in over two decades, making it a momentous occasion for the band’s dedicated West Coast fans. With this year marking Cannifest’s ten-year anniversary since launching in 2015, the celebrations will be twofold.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Cannifest back,” Executive Director of Humboldt Green Events Stephen Gieder said. “We’re always striving to elevate the experience, and this year, we’ve truly outdone ourselves. We’re thrilled to be continuing to upgrade our production to accommodate higher-tier musical acts than we ever have before.”

Beyond the musical lineup, the festival will offer stunning waterfront views, Northern California’s largest live art wall, the FIZ (family interactive zone), the Humboldt Grow games, a dedicated cannabis lounge, educational workshops and demonstrations, local and national food vendors and artisans, and much more. This year’s festival will be an all-ages event, with a 21+ lounge for cannabis sales and consumption,

“We’re claiming Labor Day Weekend in Humboldt as the ultimate destination to celebrate all things green,” Event Director Lori Cosgrove said. “Humboldt County has cultivated a uniquely vibrant and  creative culture, and Cannifest, set on the beautiful waterfront, is the perfect opportunity to showcase it on one of the most beautiful weekends of the year.”
