Stagecoach will return to Indio, CA April 28th–30th with a wide-reaching lineup helmed by daily headliners Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, and Chris Stapleton. The country Coachella will take place at Empire Polo Club, the same location as Goldenvoice‘s pop megafest.
In addition to bringing in heavy-hitting country headliners, next year’s Stagecoach will explore the genre’s many facets, from the old guards of Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives through ’90s hitmakers Brooks & Dunn, and on into the modern era. Tyler Childers will make a rare appearance on Sunday, having recently detailed his new three-part album, Can I Take My Hounds To Heaven?
The undercard lineup also hosts an array of rising talent including acts like Sierra Ferrell, Tré Burt, 49 Winchester, American Aquarium, and more. Additionally, Stagecoach 2023 will look beyond the explicit boundaries of country music with ZZ Top, Bryan Adams, Keb’ Mo’, Nelly, Diplo, and others.
Kane Brown’s headlining set will be a historic one, as it will mark the first time a Black or biracial artist has headlined Stagecoach.
“Stagecoach, I’m so pumped to come back and headline, and y’all better be ready for the energy we are about to bring there,” Brown said in a statement. “We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”
Beyond the stage, the festival will once again host Guy Fieri’s Stagecoach Smokehouse, returning for its fourth year. The Compton Cowboys will make their second Stagecoach appearance, with the group of ten Black horseriders returning to once again talk about community engagement through the lens of their Richland Farms ranch, one of the last remaining in Compton. The Honky Tonk Dance Hall will also return in 2023, with producer Diplo curating the DJ’s sets throughout the festival.
