The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, commonly referred to as simply Jazz Fest, has issued the schedule for its 2026 gathering, taking place over two four-day weekends April 23rd–May 3rd [get tickets].

The international summit of some of the world’s biggest artists will take over the sprawling Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots with over a dozen stages. Top acts appearing at the festival include headliners Kings of Leon (Thur, 4/23), Lorde (Fri, 4/24), Stevie Nicks (Sat, 4/25), Tyler Childers (Sat, 4/25), Rod Stewart (Sun, 4/26), David Byrne (Sun, 4/26), Widespread Panic (Thur 4/30), Lainey Wilson (Fri, 5/1), The Black Keys (Fri, 5/1), Eagles (Sat, 5/2), Little Feat (Sat, 5/2), Earth Wind & Fire (Sun, 5/3), Tedeschi Trucks Band (Sun, 5/3), and Herbie Hancock (Sun, 5/3), plus New Orleans’ own Jon Batiste (Fri, 4/24) and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (Sun 5/3).

These artists will top a lineup of hundreds more musicians, including Nas, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Alabama Shakes, St. Vincent, Irma Thomas, Mavis Staples, T-Pain, Raye, Ziggy Marley, Lake Street Dive, The Isley Brothers, Blind Boys of Alabama, Cyril Neville, Rhiannon Giddens, Big Freedia, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Ani DiFranco, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Ron Carter Quartet, Burning Spear, Stephen Marley, Leftover Salmon, Big Chief Donald Harrison, Boyfriend, Nicholas Payton feat. Butcher Brown presents The Supreme Blue, Cima Funk, and many, many more.

Each night after the Jazz Fest Fair Grounds go dark at 7 p.m., the city of New Orleans will come alive for Fest by Nite. Live For Live Music and GMP Live‘s annual series of after-shows during Jazz Fest, produced in partnership with Dayglo Presents and SPIN, will bring an array of after-hours concerts to storied venues throughout the Crescent City.
