Natalie Cressman To Play Intimate Show At NYC’s Blue Note

Natalie Cressman, perhaps best known for her role as the trombonist/vocalist in the Trey Anastasio Band, will bring her solo outfit out to the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club for the first time ever. Playing a late night set on April 18th, Cressman is touring on the release of her acclaimed solo album, Turn the Sea, about which Trey Anastasio said, “‘Turn The Sea’ is the sound of an artist discovering her unique voice.
I can’t really compare it to anything, which is the best compliment of all. It sounds like Natalie.”

Cressman’s solo “indie jazz” project is dominated by her musical prowess, as her vocals and horn playing both shine brightly on the soothing record. Especially at the Blue Note, which has been in business since the 1980’s, expect a great performance from Natalie Cressman and her band.
