Multi-talented guitarist DJ Williams is preparing to head out on tour in the Golden State for a run of shows with his solo quartet billed as the California Love Tour.
Williams, best known for his ongoing guitar work as a member of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, will use the six-gig March run to debut some of the new material featured on his forthcoming album, Soldier of Love, due out in the summer of 2023 via Perception Records. The Denver-based guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer will be joined on the California Love Tour by drummer Max MacVeety, bassist Derrick Wong, and keyboardist Eric Luba.

First up on the schedule is a gig in Los Angeles at The Mint this Friday, March 17th. The following night, March 18th, Williams and company will hit the stage at Winston’s in San Diego. After a few days off, DJ and his band will kick off a run of four shows in four nights including performances at Nevada City, CA’s Crazy Horse (3/22), San Francisco, CA’s Boom Boom Room (3/23), and Mammoth, CA’s Liberty Bar (3/24, 3/25).
