Watch David Gilmour Bust Out ‘The Great Gig In The Sky’ For The First Time Since 2006

While we’ve been fawning over David Gilmour’s first performance at the ancient Anfiteatro Romano Di Pompei for the first time in 45 years – and the first time with an audience in nearly 2,000 years – Gilmour proved he had more tricks up his sleeve. Not that he needed to surprise fans at the momentous concert, but the Pink Floyd guitarist busted out a Dark Side Of The Moon rarity for the first time since 2006.

“The Great Gig In The Sky” was last played by Gilmour on May 31st, 2006, making its performance all the more special. Check out some clips of the “Great Gig” below, and head here for more posts from the venerated venue.
