Trey Anastasio has announced a tour of intimate acoustic shows with accompaniment from longtime collaborator and keyboardist Jeff Tanski.
Billed as An Acoustic Evening with Trey Anastasio Featuring Jeff Tanski, the tour will kick off May 26th in Portland, OR, before heading north to Seattle’s Paramount Theatre (5/27) and then to Missoula, MT, where Anastasio and Tanski will perform two nights at The Wilma (5/29–5/30). The western leg continues with stops in Jackson, WY (5/31) and at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, CO (6/3).
The run will pick back up in the Midwest later in June, with a date at Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theatre (6/13) followed by a performance at Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, WI (6/14), on the shores of Lake Superior. The tour will then cross into Canada for a night at Toronto’s Massey Hall (6/19), with an additional stop in Buffalo, NY (6/20) before concluding with two nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on June 23rd and 24th. Trey will then link back up with his Phish bandmates for the band’s summer tour.
Tickets will be available through an artist pre-sale beginning Tuesday, March 17th at 10 a.m. local venue time. The general on-sale will follow on Friday, March 20th at 10 a.m. local time. Scroll down for a full list of dates and head here for tickets.
