Grammy-winning 12-piece blues battalion Tedeschi Trucks Band will appear tonight, March 19th, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band will perform “Future Soul”, the title track to its sixth studio album, out tomorrow.

Rather than performing at Kimmel’s studio in Hollywood, Tedeschi Trucks Band taped the song live before a sold-out crowd at New York’s Beacon Theatre on Saturday, March 14th. The band is in the midst of another sold-out residency at the Upper West Side theater, planting its flag for a historic ten shows through the end of the month.

Tune in tonight, March 19th, at 11:35 p.m. ET to ABC to see Tedeschi Trucks Band perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band’s Beacon Theatre residency continues through March 28th. Tickets are sold out, but you can check out secondary ticketing options on Ticketmaster, StubHub, and CashorTrade.

In addition to the Kimmel appearance, bandleaders Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks also visited New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art to record for PBSThe Art of Music series. Hosted by Rolling Stone editor David Fricke, who also interviewed the couple, the session saw Susan play blues legend Mississippi John Hurt’s 1955 Gibson acoustic J-50, borrowed from the Met’s guitar collection. The newly launched PBS music performance and interview series has previously paired up Peter Frampton with Warren Haynes and Sheryl Crow with Jason Isbell.

The Kimmel appearance marks the latest headline for this year’s TTB Beacon residency. Over the weekend, guitarist Derek Trucks had the privilege of playing Jerry Garcia’s “Tiger” guitar onstage, a day after the instrument sold for $11.5 million at auction. Bobby Tseitlin of Family Guitars purchased the instrument at Christie’s Auction House’s sale of items belonging to late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay.
