Weeks after Jerry Garcia‘s “Tiger” guitar sold for a staggering $11.56 million at auction, another instrument with a prestigious jam rock pedigree is going under the hammer: the organ that Gregg Allman played at his final show with the Allman Brothers Band. The Hammond B3 is among more than 1,000 treasures headed to the auction block as part of Goldin Auctions‘ Spring Music Memorabilia Auction.

The auction is headlined by the Gregg Allman Collection, anchored by the organ and Leslie speaker cabinet Allman played during The Allman Brothers Band’s final concert on October 28th, 2014, at the Beacon Theatre in New York. The instrument was also used in multiple performances in the months leading up to that farewell show, and has been photo-matched to the band’s appearance at the 10th Annual Mountain Jam on June 8th, 2014. The collection also includes a bronze statue of Duane Allman personally owned by Gregg, and a Bible Gregg’s mother gave him.

Other standout lots include a rhinestone-embossed glove Michael Jackson wore during the Bad World Tour, and a custom black fedora he wore in a Pepsi commercial.

For the rock collectors, there are two vinyl records signed by all four members of Led Zeppelin, while the grunge era is represented by a handwritten Kurt Cobain concert setlist from June 15th, 1991, paired with a ticket stub, and a self-released Nirvana Bleach demo tape with “Nirvana” written on it in Cobain’s own hand. DNA-authenticated strands of Cobain’s hair are also up for grabs, along with a press photo signed by the entire band.

Beatles material rounds out the historical rock offerings, led by a 1961 Type I photograph from the band’s first professional photo shoot, signed by all four members at the time—Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and original drummer Pete Best.

Among the more contemporary lots are an original framed Taylor Swift painting by artist Peter Max and signed Eminem vinyl. A photo-matched Fall Out Boy bass guitar used by Pete Wentz across multiple shows is also in the sale, along with photography and artifacts connected to Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Prince, Ozzy Osborne, Tom Petty, The Ramones, Phish, Trent Reznore, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Eddie Van Halen, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Eazy-E, and many more.
