[Originally published 1/29/26; Updated 1/30/26, 2/1/26]: The 2026 Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, February 1st at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA and featured a number of memorable live performances.
Arena- and stadium-filling names like Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Tyler, The Creator, and K-Pop idol ROSÉ performed during the 2026 ceremony. All of them were up for major awards, as well. Per recent tradition, the Grammys performer roster also included all eight nominees in the Best New Artist category: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, sombr, and The Marías.
For the ceremony’s customary In Memoriam segment honoring those the music world has lost in the last year, Reba McEntire performed alongside Lukas Nelson and Brandy Clark. Ms. Lauryn Hill lead a moving tribute to D’Angelo and Roberta Flack featuring a long string of high-profile artists including Wyclef Jean, Chaka Khan, John Legend, Bilal, Leon Thomas, Lucky Daye, Raphael Saadiq, Jon Batiste, and Anthony Hamilton. The memorial performances also included an all-star rendition of “War Pigs” for the late Ozzy Osbourne featuring Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Guns N’ Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan.
